Meet Glenn & Jodi Meder — Your North Alabama Real Estate Team
We’re Glenn and Jodi Meder, a husband-and-wife real estate team serving North Alabama through Rocket City Homes at Legend Realty.
We’re husband and wife, parents, grandparents, and proud North Alabama residents. We’ve spent plenty of years raising a family, packing moving boxes, learning new communities, and discovering what makes a place feel like home.
These days, we get to use those experiences to help other people make one of life’s biggest decisions.
We love living in North Alabama, but we also believe in giving people the whole picture—what’s wonderful about an area, what might not be right for them, and everything in between.
Our Story
From Military Moves to Making North Alabama Home
During Glenn’s 22-year Army career, we moved 11 times, packing up our lives, our kids, and more than a few dogs and cats along the way! Together, we experienced the excitement and challenges of settling into new communities, finding schools, making friends, and turning unfamiliar houses into homes.
Those experiences taught both of us that relocating is about much more than finding the right house. It’s about helping your entire family feel at home somewhere new.
Every move brings new questions. Which community is the best fit? How long will the commute be? What will everyday life actually look like? And how do you make those decisions when you’re hundreds of miles away?
When our family settled in Madison in 2011, we found a community we wanted to call home. Jodi, a Tennessee Valley native, brought her own connection to the region, and together we’ve watched the Huntsville area continue to grow and change.
Those experiences have given us a special appreciation for helping people get settled, whether they’re moving across town or across the country.

Glenn
Glenn brings an analytical, detail-oriented approach to real estate, shaped by his background in aviation, technology, and problem-solving. As a retired Army veteran with a master’s degree in aeronautics, he understands the importance of preparation, clear communication, and making informed decisions. He enjoys digging into the details, evaluating options, and helping clients see the bigger picture before making a move.
Glenn enjoys helping clients look beyond the surface of a property. From understanding a home’s condition and potential maintenance concerns to researching neighborhoods and evaluating options, he believes the little details can make a big difference. His goal is to help buyers and sellers understand their choices, ask the right questions, and move forward with confidence.
Glenn believes that good real estate advice starts with honesty. Sometimes that means pointing out an opportunity worth considering. Other times, it means explaining why a particular home might not be the right choice. His priority is helping clients make decisions they’ll feel good about long after closing day.
Outside of real estate, Glenn enjoys aviation, working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Jodi
Jodi is a Tennessee Valley native with a degree in graphic design and a background in communications and marketing. Her creative eye, attention to detail, and understanding of visual presentation bring a valuable perspective to real estate, particularly when helping sellers showcase their homes and buyers recognize a property’s potential.
She enjoys getting to know people, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them feel comfortable throughout the buying or selling process. Her local knowledge and communication skills are especially valuable when helping families explore communities or preparing a home for the market.
Jodi believes real estate is about more than houses. It’s about listening, building relationships, and helping people navigate important changes in their lives. She takes pride in providing thoughtful guidance and making sure clients feel informed and supported along the way.
Outside of real estate, Jodi enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, and especially making memories with our children and granddaughter.
